At this year’s Passenger Terminal Expo (PTE World) Gigaplex Security delivered a powerful demonstration of what the future of remote security screening can look like.
In a live, real-world scenario, Gigaplex successfully transmitted screened baggage data between Boston, Massachusetts and London, England. This showcased seamless, transatlantic connectivity in action.
The demonstration proved especially compelling in how the team executed the review process. Bags alternated between review locations and platforms:
- In Boston, bags were reviewed on the SureScan OEM Viewing Station
- In London, bags were reviewed on the TSS Common Workstation
This alternating workflow demonstrated real-time data transmission across continents, and true interoperability between systems and locations. This is a proof point that screening operations can be dynamically distributed without disruption.
